Collingwood has made one change to the side to take on Adelaide in the final home-and-away round of the 2007 season.

After last week’s excellent 25-point triumph over Sydney at the MCG, the Magpies lose forward Alan Didak to a hip injury, and recall Rhyce Shaw, who comes back after a strong showing for the club’s VFL affiliate Williamstown, for Friday night’s clash at Telstra Dome.

Shaw last played for Collingwood in round 20, and will add pace and carry to the backline, while Didak is expected to be available for week one of the finals series.

Brad Dick, Paul Licuria and Ben Reid are the three emergencies for the game.

Collingwood, currently sixth, cannot drop any lower on the ladder, but can finish as high as fourth with a win, while for Adelaide the equation is simple. Win and play finals, lose and miss out.

Congratulations also to Heath Shaw, who will this week notch his 50th league game.

Heath played the final six games of the 2005 season after making his debut in round 17 of that year, and after missing round one of 2006, has played every game since, a magnificent effort.
