This year, Collingwood is joining forces with the Essendon Football Club, and the RSL to support the ANZAC Appeal.

Public tickets for the Collingwood v Essendon, ANZAC Day match on Wednesday April 25 at the MCG are now exhausted.
MCC Reserve
The allocation of reserved seats and visitor tickets for the MCC Reserve for Collingwood v Essendon on Wednesday 25 April is currently exhausted. Eligible MCC Members can still scan their card at Gate 2 on the day to gain access to the MCC Reserve, however this is strictly subject to capacity.
Collingwood’s membership hub and Make Me a Magpie zone will be located at Gate 3 on Wednesday afternoon. Visit for membership enquiries, free face painting, airbrush tattoos and special Jamie Elliott hero posters.
Cap collections will also be available to Gate 1.

Our friends at Holden can make it happen on the MCG concourse in round five. The Holden Fan Zone will be located near light-tower 1 (between Gates 2 and 3), with a number of exciting activations.
Get your professional photo taken and your footy card will be printed FOR FREE on the spot! Get in quick, the Holden Fan Zone will be open from 12:30pm until the first bounce at 3:20pm.
Holden’s Steer for Cash
At half time, one lucky fan will win $1000 thanks to the Holden ‘Steer for Cash’ competition. Make sure the Holden Colorado lands in your seating bay, and then show off your best steering move for a chance to win!
In addition to giving $1000 to a lucky fan, Holden will also donate $1000 to the RSL to support men and women who have served or are serving in the Australian Defence Force.
The Social Club at the Holden Centre will be open to all members from 12pm on Wednesday afternoon. Mingle with other Magpie fans with food and beverages available for purchase.
Please note that all other match day dining packages are sold out for Wednesday’s ANZAC Day clash with Essendon.

Football fans attending theANZAC Day blockbuster at the MCG are strongly advised to take public transport and arrive early.
There is no public parking in Yarra Park on ANZAC Day, except for a limited number of spots for disability permit holders via Gate 3.

At the ground:
- Arrive early: Security measures such as wanding and bag checks will have an impact on the time taken to admit patrons to enter the stadium. Please allow extra time and don't leave your arrival until the last minute.
- Be patient: Security inspections take time, so please understand it will take a little longer to move people into the stadium.
- Limit the number of bags you bring: Each bag will be inspected, so the more you bring the longer it will take.

The Superstore will be open from 10am so you can visit us on the way to game.
