Cloke tipped for return
The Age – 2/6/16

Travis Cloke will return to Collingwood’s senior side this week, presuming he gets through training, which given Collingwood’s long injury list cannot be taken for granted.
A paucity of forward options through injury rather than demanding performances in the second will see the power forward return to the senior team.
Injuries to Darcy Moore and Alex Fasolo coming after the long-term injuries to Dane Swan, Jamie Elliott and even the inexperienced but promising Tim Broomhead have reopened the door for Cloke’s elevation.
Cloke’s last game in VFL was his best and only good game since he was dropped after round four but a VFL bye last week denied him the chance to further press his case of a return to consistent form.
Power up

Travis Cloke will have the chance to resurrect his career against Port Adelaide on Sunday – provided he gets through Collingwood’s main training session today.
Just a week after expressing his frustration about his extended stay in the VFL, and six weeks after being dropped for the ANZAC Day clash with Essendon, the controversial Magpie forward is on the verge of a return.
He will be named in the club’s squad of 25 players to take on the Power at the MCG and appears certain to play give the spate of injuries at the club, most significantly for Cloke, the broken collarbone suffered last weekend by young forward Darcy Moore against the Western Bulldogs.
Cloke crossroads
Herald Sun – 2/6/16
Jon Ralph
Travis Cloke desperately wants to feel needed.
He wants to feel part of the solution to Collingwood’s problems, the kind of guy coach Nathan Buckley can turn to in desperate times.
Finally, Cloke, 29, stands to be recalled this weekend, even if he has been made to sweat through another week of selection intrigue.
