Ruby Schleicher was a shining light in our 35-11 loss to Brisbane in round five and her standout performance has seen her named in the AFLW Team of the Week.
The defender notched up 17 disposals and 12 intercepts - the most of any defender named in this week's best team - made five tackles and looked composed despite unrelenting pressure for most of the afternoon.
The team is selected to mirror the All-Australian side: five defenders, six midfielders (including a ruck), five forwards and five interchange players.
