Collingwood has informed Brayden Sier and Jay Rantall that they will not be offered new contracts with the club.
Rookie Isaac Chugg has also been delisted but with a commitment from the club to select him in the AFL rookie draft.
Sier was selected at pick 32 in the 2015 AFL national draft and, often due to injury, managed 23 AFL appearances across six seasons with the Pies.
Rantall arrived at the Holden Centre four years later with the club’s first pick (no. 40) in the 2019 national draft.
The midfielder made his AFL debut in this year's Round 6 ANZAC day match against Essendon. He went on to play four games for the Pies.
Collingwood General Manager of Football, Graham Wright, thanked Sier and Rantall for their contribution to the club.
“We thank ‘Bear’ and Jay for playing a role in our program. They wrote themselves into the Collingwood story and will always be welcome. We wish them all the best for the next phases of their careers,” Wright said.
