Can Pendles match Bucks’ Copeland record?
After becoming the first Collingwood player to win four consecutive best and fairest medallions, can Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury etch his name further into the club’s history books at this year’s ceremony?

Sitting level on five Copeland Trophies (2011, 2013-16) with Hall of Famer Len Thompson, Pendlebury can tie Nathan Buckley’s six-time Copeland record with another triumph on Friday evening.

After polling Collingwood’s most votes (15) at the 2017 Brownlow, Pendlebury could be in prime position to contend for his sixth individual title.

But with a strong field of contenders at this year’s count – including All-Australian nominees Adam Treloar and Jeremy Howe - will there be a new owner of the Copeland Trophy for the first time in five years?

What other awards will be presented?
With all eyes on the club’s highest individual honour, the E.W. Copeland Trophy dinner will also honour and recognise a host of individuals from the Collingwood family.

The player deemed the 'Best Clubman' will recieve the Darren Millane Memorial Trophyin honour of the late club champion. Last year, Brent Macaffer was the worthy recipient of the award.

The best first year player will be awarded the Harry Collier Trophywhile the Gavin Brown Award will be given to the Players' Player.
