The President, Board, staff and members of the Collingwood Football Club would like to express their sadness at the passing of former player Bill Duckworth.
Bill played two games for Collingwood between 1943 and 1944, and was a great supporter of the Collingwood Past Players Association, having attended their Annual Dinner for 47 consecutive years.
At the age of 96, was the oldest living player in attendance at the club's Collingwood Forever function at the Crown Palladium in August 2014.
The club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to Bill’s son, Murray, and the Duckworth family.
